Choosing dreams over excuses ...

Coming home to Ireland and blessed with space nestled in the foot hills of the Mourne Mountains,  the perfect place to give life to those ideas that had been stacking up on the shelf.  Surrounded by natural beauty, inspired by the ever changing scenery, utilising all that natures table has to offer, combining skillset, imagination and the love of making stuff,  Mourne Mountain Majick was created.

He has a head for figures, full of creative ideas, spot on with measurements and good with wood and other raw materials, while she's the arty type, takes a good photo, has an eye for decor, softens the edges and brings colour to his designs.

In the work shop he creates beautiful pieces of bespoke furniture for the home and garden. With a passion for animals he makes houses for all types of our furry and feathered friends, believing every living thing needs somewhere to live. Coming from a heating engineering background with an 'OCD' like attention to detail, his pipework furniture and candle holders look great around the home and work as functional pieces, designed and built to be used, not just looked at, they will give you many years of service.  Shelves and tables are made for the size you require to ensure they're totally unique and fit your space perfectly, made just for you, please use our contact page for more details.

At the other end of their shared space, she adds the finishing touches by hand, again adding unique designs that can be made personal for you.  With years of trading as a photographer and camera operator and taking full advantage of an ever changing landscape, she creates beautiful prints of Northern Ireland countryside and its hillside dwellers, available as standard prints, digital downloads or on canvas (photos coming soon).  Seasonal handmade wreaths are available for all occasions including Naming Ceremonies, Birthdays, Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas, all made to order in themes of your choice.

As you browse the site and visit the shop, fingers crossed you'll find something you'd like to have in your home or garden. You can also come by and say hi at local markets - keep an eye on the events page for dates, locations and seasonal product workshops.

More products will be added as the range expands. All of our raw materials are sourced locally from sustainable resources.  We use recycled materials too along with all that nature has to offer including pieces created after an hour or three beach combing the beautiful shores in Newcastle, Co. Down.
